Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park - Homosassa Springs, FL

March 2009

Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park is by far the most crowded state park I've ever visited in Florida. The manatees were the main attraction (although these were far better fed than any I've ever seen elsewhere) but there was a small zoo, an underwater observatory as well as a nice little paved nature trail. I missed the boat (literally) ride due to time constraints but all-in-all this is a definite must-visit park.
